Catapulting its way onto my Top 50 with absolute confidence, Brawl in Cell Block 99 is fucking incredible. It's completely engrossing, the work of a genuine auteur with a unique filmmaking voice, trumping the likes of Quentin Tarantino with just three films under his belt.
