First Viewing Viewing Date: January 11th Via: Amazon Prime Video Plot: In the near future, a police officer specializes in malfunctioning robots. When a robot turns out to have been programmed to kill, he begins to uncover a homicidal plot to create killer robots. Rating: 6.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? I'm always in the mood for B-grade '80s sci-fi action. I randomly found out that this exists, and it was directed by Michael Crichton, and I promptly jumped on it.

I saw a few posts about this film on social media, with people defending it as a guilty pleasure, so I was curious and wanted to give it a whirl.

Rewatch Viewing Date: January 7th Via: Cinema Plot: After being bitten by a genetically-modified spider, a shy teenager gains spider-like abilities that he uses to fight injustice as a masked superhero and face a vengeful enemy. Rating: 8.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? This was the only Spider-Man movie I hadn't seen at the cinema. So when the re-release came around, it seemed like a great opportunity to right this wrong. First Viewing Viewing Date: January 6th Via: Amazon Prime Video (via VPN) Plot: A group of old college friends reunite on a Caribbean scuba diving trip exploring the wreckage of a WWII battleship and find themselves trapped inside the underwater labyrinth of rusted metal surrounded by great white sharks. Rating: 4.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's another shark movie, so I wanted to watch it.
