First Viewing Viewing Date: February 24th Via: Netflix Plot: A social media sensation breaks out when a young boy, Kevin, discovers a kindly ghost living in his new house. Kevin begins to investigate the ghost's origins with the help of a school friend, but the ghost draws the attention of the government. Rating: 6.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? I'm a big fan of Christopher Landon's work, it's free on Netflix and it looked like fun, plus it's a new movie, so I wanted to watch it on premiere night.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 24th Via: Stan. Plot: While a wealthy man is undergoing a heart transplant, the anesthetic leaves him completely alert but paralyzed and unable to tell his doctors. As he lies on the operating table, he starts hearing sinister things being said by the surgical team. Rating: 7.0/10 Why Did I Watch It? This intrigued me, and it was short at 84 minutes, plus it was free to watch, so it seemed like a good option.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 24th Via: Binge Plot: A skilled assassin, Sam, unleashes a gang war, and an 8-year-old girl becomes entangled in the middle of it. Sam goes against the interests of the people she works for to protect the young girl. Rating: 6.6/10 Why Did I Watch It? It looked fun enough and it was free on Binge.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 23rd Via: Binge Plot: A Chicago man takes his family on vacation to a cabin, but are soon joined by his obnoxious brother-in-law, his wife and their children. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? I found it on Binge. It's an 80s comedy with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, and it was written by John Hughes, so I started it immediately.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 22nd Via: Netflix Plot: Zane, an astronomer, discovers intelligent alien life. But the aliens are keeping a deadly secret, and will do anything to stop Zane from learning it. Rating: 6.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? It was on Netflix, the premise intrigued me, it was directed by David Twohy and it stars Charlie Sheen. That was enough.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 21st Via: Netflix Plot: A once-celebrated kid detective, now 32, continues to solve the same trivial mysteries between hangovers and bouts of self-pity. Until a naive client brings him his first 'adult' case, to find out who brutally murdered her boyfriend. Rating: 7.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? This caught my eye when I was perusing Netflix. The high IMDb rating intrigued me and it's also relatively short, so I decided to watch it.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 21st Via: Tubi Plot: A documentary in which Jamie Kennedy looks at the nature of film criticism. Rating: 6.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's free on Tubi and it looked interesting.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 21st Via: Apple TV+ Plot: Two con artists try to swindle a Manhattan billionaire. Rating: 5.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's a new free-to-watch movie on Apple with Sebastian Stan and Julianne Moore.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 18th Via: iTunes Store Plot: An ex-marine enforcer must battle his conscience and code of honor when he is forced to do things for the mob. Rating: 5.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? For the cast (especially Bruce Willis) and director Jesse V. Johnson. Plus, the trailer looked reasonable and it was a discounted rental.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 18th Via: Cinema Plot: When Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope's parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and Scott's daughter, Cassie, are accidentally sent to the Quantum Realm, they soon find themselves exploring the Realm, interacting with strange new creatures Rating: 4.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's a new MCU movie and I'm trying to keep track of the cinema movies for now.
