It was on Netflix, the premise intrigued me, it was directed by David Twohy and it stars Charlie Sheen. That was enough.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 21st Via: Netflix Plot: A once-celebrated kid detective, now 32, continues to solve the same trivial mysteries between hangovers and bouts of self-pity. Until a naive client brings him his first 'adult' case, to find out who brutally murdered her boyfriend. Rating: 7.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? This caught my eye when I was perusing Netflix. The high IMDb rating intrigued me and it's also relatively short, so I decided to watch it.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 18th Via: iTunes Store Plot: An ex-marine enforcer must battle his conscience and code of honor when he is forced to do things for the mob. Rating: 5.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? For the cast (especially Bruce Willis) and director Jesse V. Johnson. Plus, the trailer looked reasonable and it was a discounted rental.

Their desperate journey to safety leads them onto a train where there is no escape - and limited places to hide. Rating: 7.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's a Gene Hackman flick written and directed by Peter Hyams from 1990, this film was made for me. I also saw a glowing review by a trusted friend.

Rating: 6.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? I blind bought the Blu-ray after a TikTok user strongly recommended it. The disc arrived today and I was keen to watch it.

First Viewing Viewing Date: February 16th Via: Paramount+ Plot: After a "creative" judge sentences them to space camp, a black hole sends our adolescent heroes 24 years into the modern future where the duo misuse iPhones, embark on a quest to score, and become targets of the Deep State. Rating: 7.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? I liked the first movie and wanted to watch this one while I had Paramount+ for a few days, especially given the good reviews.

Rating: 7.1/10 Why Did I Watch It? This appeared on Netflix and instantly gained my interest due to the premise and the director. After seeing Missing, I was keen for another film in the same format.
