Stan & Ollie (2018)

Rating: 7.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? I blind bought this on Blu-ray for cheap as the subject matter interested me and I like the cast. Black Dog
First Viewing Viewing Date: July 8th Via: Blu-ray Plot: Fresh out of prison and desperate to make some easy money to save his house and secure his family's future, Jack agrees to drive a truck from Atlanta to New Jersey. However, the truck is loaded with weapons, and there's another interested party who will stop at nothing to hijack the shipment. Rating: 6.6/10 Why Did I Watch It? A mate recommended it, and it immediately caught my interest as it's an old-school '90s action movie with Patrick Swayze. It's also short and sweet at 88 minutes, so once I bought the Blu-ray, I made it a priority.

Sundown: The Vampire In Retreat
First Viewing Viewing Date: July 7th Via: Blu-ray Plot: Reclusive vampires reside in a small town where they protect themselves with sunscreen and are working on a blood substitute, allowing them to live in harmony with humans. A human scientist and his family are brought in to help set up the substitute blood plant, but not all of the vampires are happy with the idea. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? This is an '80s vampire movie with Bruce Campbell that was directed by the same guy who made Waxwork. This was put on my radar last year and I ordered the Blu-ray. I've now resorted to work through more blind buys, and this seemed like a fun option.

One Chance
First Viewing Viewing Date: July 7th Via: Britbox Plot: The true story of Paul Potts, a shy, bullied shop assistant by day and an amateur opera singer by night who became a phenomenon after being chosen for -- and ultimately winning -- Britain's Got Talent. Rating: 7.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? The same director made The Big Year, and when I was reminded that this existed, I found it on Britbox to watch for free. The Debt
First Viewing Viewing Date: July 6th Via: iTunes Store Plot: In 1965, three Mossad Agents cross into East Berlin to apprehend a notorious Nazi war criminal. Thirty years later, the secrets the Agents share come back to haunt them. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? This is another film from my 2011 watchlist. I decided to just watch it, especially since it was co-written by Matthew Vaughn and it has a great cast.
