First Viewing Viewing Date: June 19th Via: iTunes Store Plot: A grizzled, alcoholic former baseball player is hired to coach a team of young players, and seeks to turn them into champions. Rating: 7.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? Despite the generally negative reception, I wanted to check out this remake for Billy Bob Thornton and Richard Linklater. Besides, I don't consider the original movie some untouchable masterpiece, and I was open-minded to an update.

First Viewing Viewing Date: June 18th Via: iTunes Store Plot: When "The Man" tries to derail a black candidate's presidential campaign, Undercover Brother and his fellow secret agents come to the rescue. Rating: 7.1/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been curious about this one since seeing the cover in the video store many times back in the day. I heard a radio spot from an old recording of the Rocky Gervais show on XFM, and I immediately wanted to give it a watch - after all, I like goofy comedies from this era.

Rating: 7.2/10 Why Did I Watch It? Kevin Smith has spoken about this movie for years which has gotten me interested in watching it. He recently spoke about his idea for a legacy sequel, and I decided to finally watch it.

First Viewing Viewing Date: June 17th Via: iTunes Store Plot: Several women in a small town all give birth to children on the same day, but there's something mysterious and evil about the children which continuously manifests itself as the years pass. Doctors study them, hoping to find answers. Rating: 6.0/10 Why Did I Watch It? After watching Ghosts of Mars, I figured I should watch another John Carpenter movie which has eluded me for a long time.

First Viewing Viewing Date: June 17th Via: Amazon Prime Video (via VPN) Plot: Stranded on a crumbling oil rig in Baja, a family faces off against a vengeful megalodon shark. Rating: 3.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? Look... It's an R-rated giant killer shark movie. I was going to watch this one no matter the reviews.

Upon arrival, the cops find that the post has become a charnel house. Rating: 5.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been meaning to watch this for some time as it's a John Carpenter movie. I've always gotten this film mixed up with Mission to Mars, so after watching that movie, I decided I should watch this one.

First Viewing Viewing Date: June 16th Via: Netflix Plot: After barely surviving his grievous wounds from his mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Tyler Rake is back, and his team is ready to take on their next mission. Rating: 8.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? As if I wasn't going to watch this R-rated, badass, big-budget action movie on premiere night.

Rating: 6.0/10 Why Did I Watch It? This was just a random watchlist pick. It's a film I've been meaning to watch since it first came out.

First Viewing Viewing Date: June 14th Via: Cinema Plot: Barry Allen uses his super speed to change the past, but his attempt to save his family creates a world without super heroes, forcing him to race for his life in order to save the future. Rating: 8.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's the opening night of a new DC film with Michael Keaton back as Batman.

First Viewing Viewing Date: June 13th Via: iTunes Store Plot: Years after his bowling hand was mangled, a bowling prodigy hopes to mentor a promising bowler with the hopes of winning a $1 million tournament. Rating: 7.1/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been meaning to watch this for years as this is another classic '90s Farrelly Brothers movie, but it has always eluded me, for whatever reason. I bought it on iTunes for cheap and finally gave it a whirl.

First Viewing Viewing Date: June 12th Via: Cinema Plot: Dom Toretto and his family are targeted by the vengeful son of drug kingpin Hernan Reyes. Rating: 5.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've watched all of the movies until this point in time... why stop now? (Aside from the fact that the last film was genuinely awful.)
