First Viewing Viewing Date: August 13th Via: Amazon Prime Video Plot: A Gulf war veteran is wrongly sent to a mental institution for insane criminals, where he becomes the object of a doctor's experiments, and his life is irrevocably affected by them. Rating: 7.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? This was a random watchlist pick as I've been meaning to watch it for some time based on the cast and the positive ratings.

She tries to convince her cop boyfriend about what is happening. Rating: 6.6/10 Why Did I Watch It? I was in the mood for a horror, I love '80s horror, and this is about to leave Prime.

First Viewing Viewing Date: August 13th Via: iTunes Store Plot: On the brink of losing her home, Maddie finds an intriguing job listing: helicopter parents looking for someone to bring their introverted 19-year-old son out of his shell before college. Her payment is a new car that she desperately needs to earn money. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's an R-rated comedy from Gene Stupnitsky, so I pounced as soon as it appeared on streaming.

First Viewing Viewing Date: August 12th Via: iTunes Store Plot: A Federal Agent, whose daughter dies of a heroin overdose, is determined to destroy the drug ring that supplied her. He recruits various people whose lives have been torn apart by the drug trade and trains them. Then they all leave for France to track down and destroy the ring. Rating: 5.0/10 Why Did I Watch It? I found this one exists due to the recent Sidney J. Furie Blu-ray box-set. I was curious and sought it out.

First Viewing Viewing Date: August 9th Via: Cinema Plot: As they sail to England, the crew aboard the Demeter begin being killed one-by-one by a malevolent monster that only hunts at night. Rating: 7.2/10 Why Did I Watch It? I won a double pass to a preview screening.

First Viewing Viewing Date: August 8th Via: Netflix Plot: When their closest friend April O'Neil discovers an ancient scepter with magical powers, the turtles must cow-a-bunga their way back to 17th century Japan to rescue her from the evil clutches of Lord Norinaga. Rating: 5.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? Had to finish watching the original trilogy.

Rating: 6.6/10 Why Did I Watch It? With the new movie coming out, it felt right to catch up on the older movies that I've missed.
