First Viewing Viewing Date: April 26th Via: Amazon Prime Video Plot: Three veteran museum security guards devise a plan to steal the artworks to which they have become attached after they are transferred to another museum in Denmark. Rating: 6.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? I was in the mood for something short and sweet. This is 90 minutes long and has a great cast, so it fit the bill.

He takes on a job with a crazed passenger, whose sought-after ledger implicates some seriously dangerous criminals. Rating: 7.1/10 Why Did I Watch It? It's the only Joe Carnahan movie I haven't seen and it was heavily discounted on Amazon, which convinced me to buy it. As soon as it arrived, I wanted to watch it.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 25th Via: Tubi Plot: A legendary psychopathic murderer stalks a summer camp. Rating: 4.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? I just wanted a simple, short horror, and this one was free on Tubi.

He soon realizes that despite his doubts, together, this team can go further than they ever imagined. Rating: 7.2/10 Why Did I Watch It? I liked the original version and wanted to see this remake because of Woody Harrelson and director Bobby Farrelly. Plus it was well-reviewed. It appeared on iTunes today and I made it a priority.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 25th Via: Stan. Plot: An untested American submarine captain teams with U.S. Navy Seals to rescue the Russian president, who has been kidnapped by a rogue general. Rating: 7.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been meaning to watch this one for years and it has lingered on my watchlist for some time. After watching Kursk, it seemed like a good chaser.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 25th Via: iTunes Store Plot: The 2000 K-141 Kursk submarine disaster is followed by governmental negligence. As the sailors fight for survival, their families desperately battle political obstacles and impossible odds to save them. Rating: 7.1/10 Why Did I Watch It? This was a 99 cent rental and it looked interesting.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 24th Via: Binge Plot: On January 20, 1942, leading representatives of the German Nazi regime met in a villa in Berlin-Wannsee for a meeting that went down in history as the Wannsee Conference, at which the systematic murder of 11 million Jews was decided. Rating: 7.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? I found it on Binge and it caught my attention immediately, especially because of the subject matter and the positive reviews.

Revisit Viewing Date: April 24th Via: Netflix Plot: A suspended cop's rare, valuable baseball card is robbed. Since it's his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, he works with his partner to recover the card from a memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Rating: 6.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? I saw a few clips on social media which made me want to revisit it, as I didn't remember it at all and I probably didn't pay much attention when I watched a pirate copy back in 2010. It's about to leave Netflix, so I took an opportunity to watch it.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 24th Via: Tubi Plot: A psychiatrist attempts to prevent one of his patients from committing suicide while trying to maintain his own grip on reality. Rating: 7.2/10 Why Did I Watch It? It caught my attention on Tubi due to the poster design, the cast and the director. Plus, it's 95 minutes long.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 23rd Via: Stan. Plot: When one school teacher unwittingly causes another teacher's dismissal, he is challenged to an after-school fight. Terrified of what might happen, he then spends the entire school day trying to prevent the fight from happening. Rating: 6.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? This popped up on IMDb after I watched Middle School. It's a 90-minute, R-rated comedy with good comedic actors, and it's free on Stan., so I immediately went for it.

This involves orchestrating a string of pranks that attract attention from everyone in the school - and from other schools. Rating: 6.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? This has been on my Stan. watchlist for some time, as I was curious about it. I was in the mood for something fluffy and lightweight, and this was my pick, especially because it's only 90 minutes long.

Plot: A teenage boy and his father move to his recently-deceased mother's hometown, where they encounter the ancient Native American cemetery with the power to raise the dead. Rating: 5.6/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been meaning to watch this sequel since I first saw the original movie, and it has been on my Stan. watchlist for some time. I was hoping to wait until October, but it leaves Stan. soon.

For his job, the policeman investigates a case of a missing boy. The possible kidnapping looks like some cases from a few years ago. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? This one was an IMDb recommendation. As soon as I saw the high user rating, I had to check it out.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 22nd Via: Netflix Plot: Two childhood friends, a New York hairstylist and a would-be musician, get caught up with the mob and are forced to deliver $50,000 to Australia, but things go haywire when the money is lost to a wild kangaroo. Rating: 6.2/10 Why Did I Watch It? I was curious about this one because of the intensely negative critical reaction. It leaves Netflix soon and I wanted to jump on it while I could.

First Viewing Viewing Date: April 22nd Via: iTunes Store Plot: A boy stands on a station platform as a train is about to leave. Should he go with his mother or stay with his father? Infinite possibilities arise from this decision. As long as he doesn't choose, anything is possible. Rating: 7.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? I have wanted to see this one for a long, long time based on the positive reception, but it always drops off my radar again. A friend recommended it recently and I forced myself to see it by just biting the bullet and renting it.
