Where The Truth Lies
First Viewing Viewing Date: July 28th Via: Amazon Prime Video Plot: Karen O'Connor, a young journalist known for her celebrity profiles, is consumed with discovering the truth behind a long-buried incident that affected the lives and careers of showbiz team Vince Collins and Lanny Morris. Rating: 6.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? This was on my radar for years, ever since I had a massive crush on Alison Lohman and wanted to see more of her work. But it has eluded me, even staying on my Stan. watchlist for years before being removed from that service. But I found it while browsing on Prime and it was about to leave Prime, so I decided to finally give it a watch.

Gigli
First Viewing Viewing Date: July 27th Via: Netflix Plot: Larry Gigli is assigned by a crime boss to kidnap the brother of a prominent district attorney. A beautiful lesbian assassin known only as Ricki is sent to stay with him to make sure he doesn't mess up the job. Rating: 3.8/10 Why Did I Watch It? This is one of the most infamously awful movies of all time. I needed to see it, just to say that I have seen it. It leaves Netflix in a few days so the time had arrived.

The book quickly becomes a best-selling smash hit, but it attracts the attention of the police due to the book's startling similarities to real-life deaths. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? This was on a list of action films I want to see that I've curated for several years. Since it was free on Tubi, and it's directed by Rowdy Herrington, I made it a priority.
