First Viewing Viewing Date: May 19th Via: iTunes Store Plot: The true story of Homer Hickam, a coal miner's son who was inspired by the first Sputnik launch to take up rocketry against his father's wishes. With his friends from school, Homer begins scientific experimentation to build a rocket of his own. Rating: 8.1/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been meaning to watch this for years, and I remember seeing ads for this on TV back in the day. It was a cheap rental and it has a high IMDb rating, so it was a good time to watch it.

First Viewing Viewing Date: May 15th Via: Binge Plot: A humiliated former marketing executive plots revenge against his former boss, who made billions from the electric car company they had started together. Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? This was a random find on Binge. It has a good cast and has a promising IMDb rating, plus it's short, sweet and lightweight which is what I needed.

Rating: 5.0/10 Why Did I Watch It? I normally enjoy new horror movies, no matter how mediocre, and this one just appeared on Stan.

First Viewing Viewing Date: May 13th Via: Stan. Plot: It's the summer of 1994, and the streets of New York are pulsing with hip-hop. Set against this backdrop, a lonely teenager named Luke Shapiro spends his last summer before university selling marijuana throughout New York City, trading it with his unorthodox psychotherapist for treatment, while having a crush on his stepdaughter. Rating: 5.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? The positive reviews and the fact that it was directed by Jonathan Levine got me onto this one. It leaves Stan. soon, so I took the chance to watch it.

Rating: 7.0/10 Why Did I Watch It? It leaves Stan. soon and I wanted to revisit it before it left the service. After all, it was directed by Kathryn Bigelow and stars Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson.

Rating: 7.2/10 Why Did I Watch It? It seemed like a good one to watch with mum, as she enjoys British cinema.

They start a relationship, but Mae soon disappears, and Nick is desperate to find out what happened to her. Rating: 6.6/10 Why Did I Watch It? It leaves Netflix soon and I wanted to check it out based on the cast and the premise.

First Viewing Viewing Date: May 9th Via: Netflix Plot: A steely special ops agent finds his morality put to the test when he infiltrates a crime syndicate and unexpectedly bonds with the boss's young son. Rating: 7.3/10 Why Did I Watch It? A trusted friend highly recommended it.

Rating: 6.9/10 Why Did I Watch It? The reviews have had me interested since it first came out, but I wanted to wait for it to appear on a streaming service. It came to Prime this week and I jumped on it right away.

However, complications set in when one of the detectives gets involved and falls in love with her. Rating: 7.0/10 Why Did I Watch It? I've been meaning to watch this one for years. After watching The Hard Way, it seemed appropriate to watch another John Badham action film from the 1980s.

Rating: 6.7/10 Why Did I Watch It? IMDb recommended this one to me after I watched Blue Thunder, and I was immediately intrigued.
